For the artist, writer, daydream, foodie, or milkshake connoisseur who just loves to hang out at El Taller– this one is perfect for you! Your regular support keeps us going. Every month, you will receive 1 free milkshake/smoothie and 10% off all non-alcoholic beverages.
For the book lovers and avid readers. This one is perfect for you to stay up to date on new titles to add to your collection! Every month, you will get to choose 1 free book off our shelves (not an online order). You can choose from anything we have in stock (including hardcovers, paperbacks, graphic novels, picture books, books in Spanish, arts books, and more)!
For the readily reliable folks who want to sustain the inner workings of El Taller! Did you know our name comes from the Guerrero family’s metal shop El Taller in Mexico City? Every month, you will get to pick out 1 free book off our shelves & 1 free milkshake/smoothie.
This is for the folks who are already invited to the carne asada–la familia. Every month, you will get to have 1 entree & 1 drink of your choice & pick 1 free book off our shelves.

This monthly membership program started in January 2023. Your membership will be charged monthly.
You can sign up at any time.
You may cancel at any time.
Membership rewards are valid for that month only and cannot be carried over to the next month.
You must present your membership card to get your rewards.
Because we are not a non-profit organization, your membership is NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

For nonprofits, corporations, and organizations who want to support El Taller.
Proportional-sized curated mystery boxes containing discounts, coupons, books, El Taller merchandise, Art Bodega items from local artists/vendors, etc., will be sent to you to distribute amongst members of your organization.
Your organization can choose a theme of books catered to your needs. Options include Children’s Books, Cookbooks, and Books about Education, Diversity, and Equity to distribute to your employees or display for your customers.
EL ALEBRIJE | Sponsor a youth for $40
For people who want to pay it forward!
We will work with local nonprofit leaders, teachers, educators, and enrichment programs to identify Lawrence Area youth to give milkshakes + books to.
Youth will be able to choose from our curated selection of stories in which the youth can see themselves, learn histories of resistance, and image the possibilities for change.
